'He got tortured, he got his family killed, everything was taken away from him - like his job, his cattle, everything - and he still remained faithful to God and trusted God,' Justin tells Celebs magazine.
'He didn't know why it happened but he still put his faith in God and that everything happens for a reason.

The star's single mum Pattie Mallette is an evangelical Christian and Justin has always been keen for his fans to know he holds deep religious views himself.
In March, he spoke of his strong opinions on abortion.
'I really don't believe in abortion,' Justin told Rolling Stone.
'I think (an embryo) is a human. It's like killing a baby.'
